| Trends | Speed plays on the turf, especially when it’s fast and firm, as horses have trouble making up ground, but we’re going to go against that trend here (unless scratches come into play), as there things look very hot and contested up front. |
| Best Play | #2 ENGLISH BEE (2-1) (turf only): Stalker took all the worst of it at the break in his return last time, when he got shuffled back soon after the start and basically was allowed to jog around, but that’s behind him now, he’ll love all the pace up front, and he lays over these on class as well. |
