| Trends: | Speed plays sprinting on the main, so you want to be close early, though with three surfaces in use on a daily basis, it’s tough to get too good of a gauge. |
| Best Play: | #3 DIAMOND COOL (5-1): Expected pace presser did well to draw outside #2 Fortheloveofart (6-1), and note he’s never run on the main against state breds, as he’s been facing tons better—and holding his own—in open waters and/or stakes company. |
